CAHN’s ambition is to work with Caribbean and African community in Greater Manchester to eradicate health inequalities within a generation.
The aim of this scoping exercise is to gather essential information that will provide an overview of where the Black community lives across the 10 localities of Greater Manchester. The information gathered will enable us and the community as a whole to better articulate the needs of our community as we engage with service providers and commissioners.
This scoping adheres to ethical guidelines and all information gathered will be treated in the strictest confidence. Individuals are not required to provide their names and personal identifiable data will be anonymised.
The organisational section of the scoping is to help identify what services exist and where they are located within Greater Manchester.
The findings from this scoping will inform conference, journal proceedings and relevant organisations seeking to understand community needs. A report will be published on our website when the exercise has been completed. No personal or named organisational information will be included in public reports, published material or discussions with other agencies.
