CAHN, along with our patrons are delighted to be hosting our 2nd annual awards ceremony, which recognises and celebrates the skills, talents, passion and energy of our Black health and care workforce.
Over the last seven decades, Black Caribbean and African people have been the pillars of our health and care services, playing a central role across various levels of our ecosystem of care. These include hospitals, primary care, community health, local authority and social care within the public, private and voluntary sector across the UK.
They have also been instrumental working within our universities, contributing in the field of research.
However, and for too long our Black health and care professionals have not been in positions of great importance or received well- deserved recognition.
These awards promise to recognise individuals who have established themselves as outstanding in their practice and with unrivalled determination to make a difference to all, as they fulfil their vocation.
Our esteemed independent judges are looking forward to receiving nominations from colleagues and all those who acknowledge the impact the work of the health and care professionals.
Nominations can also be received from self-nominating individuals.
These awards promise to make it, a night to remember.
