Sunmonu Peace Temitope is a health and wellbeing development officer with the Caribbean and African Health Network (CAHN).
She has a master’s degree qualification in Global Public Health at the Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester UK, and an essential experience in health care and development. She is passionate about health-related services and very keen about public health, research, and development. Peace is enthusiastic and committed to promoting health awareness and supporting people into health and wellbeing activities, ensuring that the healthy lifestyle of the Caribbeans and Africans within the UK are preserved.
She is currently engaged with the duty of planning, researching, and implementing a portfolio of health-related projects, programs, events, and activities with team members as well as codesigning and developing health care pathways with users and partners. Following the vision of CAHN, she looks forward to making a positive impact within the Caribbean and African community to eradicate health inequality and bring about good health and wellbeing in the UK through research and health promotion.
June Green is currently working as a Health Liaison Officer at CAHN and retired from the NHS at the end of December 2021. June had been working as a Clinical Research Nurse Manager for over 15 years. She has been qualified as a Registered Nurse and Midwife for over 40 years and began working for CAHN since 2017 as a volunteer Nurse providing health screening in the community at churches and community events including the first Windrush celebration. Her passion is the health of her community and raising awareness of personal healthcare, helping the community to address the disproportionalities of healthcare and this role puts her in a prime position to do so, to provide the evidence to promote better health for the African Caribbean community.
Emmanuel is the Lead Minister of the World Harvest Christian Centre Manchester branch. He is actively involved in several community projects within the black community. He has successfully spearheaded campaigns in the areas of employment such as the ‘Back to work’ program, youthwork (Clayton Youth Club). He has also helped establish a supplementary school that runs every Saturday to help educationally disadvantaged black children in high school within our local community. Emmanuel’s educational background is in Production and Project Management Technology. Emmanuel has 7years of experience in banking operations before joining the religious and voluntary sector. Emmanuel has joined the CAHN family as a project worker to help drive its community projects and campaigns.
Daniel is one of our Digital Assistants at CAHN.
Daniel studied Civil Engineering at the University of Bolton and has been a Volunteer for World Harvest Christian Centre as a teaching assistant since 2018.
Daniel loves to help and be present for those in need.
Daniel would like to make CAHN more recognised locally and international so that more people can receive CAHN’S services.

Sandy is passionate about activities that involve working with people, but more importantly, understanding these people regardless of their background. In her quest to create positive change, she is taking full advantage of her past experiences as a Corporate Consultant as well as a Public Speaker to empower individuals as well as victims of domestic and sexual violence. In doing so, she uses her linguistic skills (Certified UK translator French & Spanish) to break language barriers.
In her role as the Head of Community Engagement and Empowerment at CAHN, Sandy endeavours to work closely with community groups and statutory organisations to identify partnership opportunities in delivering CAHN’s mission to end health and social inequalities within a generation. She dedicates her time to create positive change and advocate for better social policies.

Department is Research & Innovation
Lourinti is the Head of Education and Learning at the Caribbean and African Health Network (CAHN). She manages education and learning, supporting staff, volunteers, and students. She is a Registered General Nurse with many years of experience, working in the private sector and the NHS in various nursing and educational roles. She has a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Nursing Studies obtained at the University of Manchester and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education obtained at Edge Hill University. She is passionate about supporting CAHN’s future workforce and am always happy to listen, offer my support and guidance. She has worked for CAHN as a nurse volunteer and developed CAHN into a Learning Environment within her role as a Practice Education Facilitator at Manchester Foundation Trust.
Hilda is our Health Partnership and Policy Manager. She has a wealth of experience working as a senior leader with a proven track record of achieving transformational change and addressing inequalities, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) across a range of public and voluntary sector organisations throughout the country. As a champion for inequalities and EDI She has introduced a range of initiatives and interventions that have included, embedding EDI into the commissioning cycle, contract management, working on specific joint strategic needs assessment for protected groups, responsibility for policy development, promoting community cohesion, developing a range of toolkits (including positive action, race equality, recruitment and selection), successfully achieved various national frameworks, standards and charters. She has introduced a range of Human Resources and Organisational Development interventions and development opportunities, developing workforce metrics and dashboards, she has also established, facilitated, and managed staff networks across the protected groups. Her vast career has also included the setting and managing a number of Translation and Interpretation services, hosting and celebrating diversity through various events, activities and programmes. Hilda has led on the establishing of a number of local community groups, forums, networks and EDI Partnerships to increase and improve engagement with local communities. Her work in the NHS has seen her lead on developing and implementing the range of EDI mandatory and statutory requirements as well as introducing new initiatives and best practice measures relating to workforce and patient services. Her work has included ensuring that organisations are compliant with statutory and mandatory requirements and reporting to board and senior leaders. Hilda has a range of qualifications in management, equality of opportunity and event management and has lead teams of various sizes and has previous experience as board member for a large housing provider in the West Midlands. Hilda is also a Peer for the Equality Framework for Local Authority and Action Learning Set Lead for the West Midlands Employer Breaking Through Programme.

Sandra is the Corporate Delivery and Compliance Manager at CAHN.
I coordinate the delivery of our programmes, projects and services. My role involves implementing, monitoring as well as developing continuous improvement strategies for all our programmes and projects. I also lead on compliance and assurance practices to ensure that we abide by policy and regulatory expectations.
Sandra has a passion to help people and enjoys using her skills to support community impact projects. These values and aspirations motivated her to join the team to promote CAHN’s vision, and empower and improve the lives of Caribbean and African people.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and travelling.
Hayford is the HR Systems Consultant at CAHN. Hayford has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Big Data Analytics. Managing HR systems gives him the opportunity to engage with staff on various levels within IT.
Hayford is looking forward to working with CAHN management to get the best from the HR system and providing a user-friendly interface for all staff members across CAHN.
Wisdom Tetteh Ayornu is the IT Support Officer at CAHN. He has general interest in the ICT field and gain some years’ experience with his contribution in IT.
Wisdom holds a BSc and MSc in Telecommunication engineering, seeking a challenging opportunity in a demanding commercial environment for new learning and add value in profitability to the organisation. He diverted from engineering to IT as he explored his passion in that area which goes beyond fixing computers.
Wisdom joined CAHN in January 2022 and his role as IT Support Officer is to ensure that the CAHN IT system is modern, providing installation and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software issues and solving technical and application problems for all staff to achieve their goals.
Samuel is our Marketing and Media officer at CAHN. With an evident passion for all aspects of marketing and media. Samuel graduated from the University of Derby with his BSc in marketing with a specialization in the digital sphere. Having worked on the Nectar campaign with Sainsbury’s, Samuel’s marketing experiences has given him the avenue to apply his knowledge across all aspects of marketing and media by having an insight into the consumer mindset. This accumulated experience over the years brought him to CAHN and developed his passion for educating, empowering, and including the African and Caribbean communities which he looks forward to his impact at CAHN.
Praise Tobi is our Digital Marketing Officer at CAHN. Tobi is very passionate about Digital innovation, Direct Marketing & Sales. Tobi has a BSc in Computer Science from Lead City University Ibadan Nigeria, and an MSc in Digital Business from Salford Business School Manchester, England. Tobi does not have any previous organization background experience in Marketing but have been able to learn from Top Marketing Thought Leaders Like Russell Brunson, Tai Lopez, Seth Godin, Akin Alabi, Gary Vaynerchuk etc.

Adebimpe Dauda is the Business Support Officer / Rochdale Community lead & Communications Support for CAHN. A graduate of Liverpool John Moore University with 8years experiences in customer service in the retail industry.Adebimpe started with CAHN as a volunteer before becoming a staff member, as the Rochdale community lead, she supports the black groups and organisations in Rochdale and works closely with the community engagement manager and the communication officer. She also creates and designs various content for CAHN social media platforms. She looks forward to continuing promoting CAHN’s vision and mission as well as creating outstanding graphics for CAHN social media campaigns.
