About Safe STEPS
Safe STEPS is a free and inclusive sexual health service designed with your needs in mind. We understand that sexual health is about more than just testing—it’s about feeling understood, respected, and supported.
Our team provides:
- HIV and STI education and testing
- Confidential sexual health advice
- Peer support sessions
- Accompaniment to clinical appointments
- Therapeutic counselling
- Connections to essential services like food banks and advocacy
We bring these services to spaces where you already feel comfortable—community centres, places of worship, and local venues.

Community Support
Our comprehensive support includes drop-in sessions with: on-site testing, condoms, and self-testing kits; essential health checks for blood pressure, cholesterol, confidential advice, workshops, clinic accompaniment, and referrals. Also, community-focused support through peer sessions, targeted group education, wellbeing events, and information stands.
